About Stages:
Stages, named 2024-2025 Community Theater of the Year by New Jersey Association of Community Theaters (NJACT), is a non-denominational theater company which has been cultivating children’s interest in the arts for the past 30 years.
Our Annual Summer Stages Program:
Our two week intensive workshop of singing, acting, and dancing culminates in a fully staged performance at the Fair Lawn Community Center. Children going into second grade through recent high school graduates are welcome.

Stages teaching staff includes three certified teachers:
Director: Christine Knitel (Music teacher, Fair Lawn Public Schools)
Musical Director: Eric Knitel (Music teacher, Lyndhurst Public Schools)
Choreographer: Dawn Greene (Language arts teacher, Academy of Our Lady, Glen Rock)
"Meet and Greet" for placement:
Our “Meet and Greet” model provides an opportunity for us to hear each child sing so we can best highlight their special qualities in our production. Everyone we meet will be a part of our cast!
"Meet and Greet" Dates:
Saturday May 17, 12:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M.
Wednesday May 21, 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.
Please have your child MEMORIZE 16-32 bars of a song from a movie soundtrack (post-Millennial, of course!) and bring an accompaniment track on a Bluetooth compatible device or sheet music for your Meet and Greet.
(Did we mention that the lyrics must be MEMORIZED?)

Tuition:
Tuition is $550.00 for the two week workshop and includes 50+ hours of instruction.
Students also receive a script, commemorative t-shirt, and a DVD of their performance.
There is a sibling discount of $100 off tuition for each additional child.
